Unfortunately we've had to make the difficult decision to remove PayPal from our list of accepted payment methods. We understand this is disappointing, but we've been left with no choice.
As you know, sometimes it can take international orders some time to arrive, especially with issues with postal services. We always work with our readers to make sure any missing copies get replaced. While the majority of transactions have been fine, we have suffered from a few disputes where PayPal automatically rules in the buyer's favour, meaning we lose the money, the stock and additionally get hit with fees from PayPal. Unfortunately since we're only a small publication, we can't absorb this cost anymore and have had to pull that option.
All PayPal payments already taken are still valid. We still accept payments via the industry-recognised Stripe, direct debit and bank transfer payments, and we're investigating other options that offer us some protection as well as our customers. We're sorry for this inconvenience, and we hope you understand the reasons and we're still able to do business with you through our other payment partners.
